- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups cubed bread day-old works best
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
In a greased 9x13 baking dish, layer the cubed bread, cooked sausage, and cheese.
Pour the egg mixture over the top.
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until set and golden.
Serve warm.
