Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 3.4-ounce box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet, milk, or dark

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and instant vanilla pudding mix.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown and centers look slightly underdone.
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
