Honey and butter create a simple glaze for tender carrots, balancing sweetness with a touch of seasoning. This dish is quick to make and adds color to your Thanksgiving spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Boil the carrots in a pot of salted water for 5-7 minutes, or until just tender.
  • Drain the carrots and set aside.
  • In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the honey, salt, and pepper, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the carrots back to the pot and toss until coated.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to stick to the carrots.
