Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Creamy mashed potatoes with a hint of garlic make for a comforting, classic side dish. Just cook, mash, and add butter for a smooth and flavorful result.
- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ΒΌ cup milk
- 1 garlic clove minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Peel and chop the potatoes into even pieces.
Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring it to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
Drain the water and add the butter, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Mash the potatoes until smooth, adjusting milk to reach your preferred consistency.
