Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ΒΌ cup milk
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop the potatoes into even pieces.
  • Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring it to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain the water and add the butter, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Mash the potatoes until smooth, adjusting milk to reach your preferred consistency.
  • Serve warm with an extra pat of butter on top if desired.
