Easy Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipe

A simple stuffing recipe with bread cubes, herbs, and butter, baked until golden and flavorful. This side dish is a Thanksgiving classic that pairs well with turkey.
- 1 loaf of day-old bread cubed
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage or thyme
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until slightly dry.
In a large pan, sauté the onion and celery in melted butter over medium heat until soft, about 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, sautéed onion and celery, and dried sage.
Pour in the broth gradually, stirring until the bread is moist but not soggy.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and crispy.
