Fresh cranberries cooked with orange juice and cinnamon create a sweet and tangy sauce perfect for Thanksgiving. Ready in about 15 minutes, it brings a bright pop of flavor to your table.
- 1 cup of fresh cranberries
- ½ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of orange juice
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
Rinse the cranberries under cold water.
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and cinnamon.
Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes. The cranberries will start to pop.
Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
