Apple Hand Pies

Simple and portable apple hand pies with a warm, spiced filling and flaky crust. Great for serving without utensils, making them perfect for any holiday gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large apples peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 sheets refrigerated pie dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for brushing)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Roll out pie dough and cut into 6-inch circles.
  • Spoon filling onto half of each circle, fold over, and press edges with a fork.
  • Brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
