Apple Hand Pies

Simple and portable apple hand pies with a warm, spiced filling and flaky crust. Great for serving without utensils, making them perfect for any holiday gathering.
- 2 large apples peeled and diced
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 sheets refrigerated pie dough
- 1 egg beaten (for brushing)
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
Roll out pie dough and cut into 6-inch circles.
Spoon filling onto half of each circle, fold over, and press edges with a fork.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
