For instance, aim to walk 10,000 steps a day or set a weekly budget for groceries and stick to it. This way, you know exactly what you’re working towards, and it’s easier to measure your progress.

2. Break It Down Big goals can be overwhelming, like trying to organize the entire house in a week. Break it down into smaller, manageable tasks. Dedicate one day to decluttering just the kitchen drawers. The next week, tackle the kids’ closet. This step-by-step approach keeps you from feeling swamped and gives you a sense of accomplishment along the way.

3. Be Realistic with Your Time and Energy We’ve all been there, overestimating what we can achieve in a day. Remember, there are only so many hours, and you’re only one person. If you’re a working mom, maybe your goal can be as simple as reading a bedtime story to your kids every night. It’s about quality, not quantity.
